Philip K. Werner, 82, passed away Friday (September 1, 2023) at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call Thursday (September, 7) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc., 32 State St, Seneca Falls. Funeral Service will be Friday (September, 8) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Gerald Graziano Pastor at Finger Lakes Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will follow in Fayette Rural Cemetery. Kindly consider contributions to the charity of your choice in memory of Philip.
Philip was born in Seneca Falls February 9, 1941, the son of Karl and Ellen Fischer Werner. A graduate of Mynderse Academy class of 1958. He was an Army Veteran, a Fayette Fire Dept. volunteer and retired from Gould's Pumps as a Foreman after 36 years of service. He was an avid race car fan.
Survived by ten children, Karl, Bill, James (Darlene) Werner, Sherrie (Brad) Litzenberger, Robert, Bill and Tom Bulger, Laura Barnum, Ellen (Arron) Crawford and Darcy (Dave) Pinckney; a brother, Elwin (Nancy) Werner; and Philip's significant other, Sandy Hanville; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Laura Poorman; and his second wife, Dolores Ann; a son, Steven Bulger; and a brother, Charles Werner.
