Seneca Falls

Muriel G. Horle, 92 of U.S. Route 20 of Seneca Falls passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Huntington Living Center, Waterloo. Services will be on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls with Rev. Leah Ntuala. Officiating Interment will follow in Fayette Rural Cemetery. Kindly consider contributions to the church.

Muriel was born in Hazelton, PA, the daughter of Edward and Clara Buff Gahn. She was married in 1953 to Bernard R. Horle who passed away in 2017. She was a graduate of Geneseo State and retired from teaching at Waterloo Elementary School after many years. A member of the First Presbyterian Church and its Choir. Also a member of the New York State Teachers Association.

Survived by her nephews: David (Coralie) Gahn of Ithaca and Daniel of Dryden and nieces Deborah (Ronald Ward), Freeville, and Donna Stine also of Freeville. Several other nieces and nephews throughout the country. Predeceased besides her husband Bernard are 4 brothers: Walter Kepner, Edward Gahn, Jr., Donald Gahn, and Jack Gahn.
