Obituary- Ruth Berlin
Ruth (Gunther) Berlin, born August 12, 1935 in Silver Creek, NY to Erwin and Emilie (Waterstradt) Gunther, died on April 22, 2024 in Waterloo, NY.
She married William James Berlin at the Trinity Lutheran Church on August 15, 1955. Ruth was a member of the church Ladies Guild and a member / President of the “Silverettes” Home Bureau Chapter where she enjoyed many cherished friendships.
Throughout her life she shared her craftsmanship in gifts to loved ones and donations to local health facilities.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years. She is survived by her children Susan (David) Payne, Dawn (Mark) Hadley and James Berlin (Terri), grand-children, sisterin-law, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
There will be an 11 a.m. graveside memorial service on June 29, 2024, at Glenwood Cemetery in Silver Creek. Family and friends are invited to meet afterward at the VFW Hall in Silver Creek. Memorials made to honor her giving spirit can be made to an organization of your choice.
