Jean M. Lanza 84, formerly of Seneca Falls passed away on January 28, 2025, at St. Joseph's Skilled Nursing Facility in Elmira. Funeral services are on Saturday 02-08-25 at 11 am at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc 32 State St. Seneca Falls. Interment in Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls.

Jean was born in Seneca Falls the daughter of Herold and Eleanor Morehouse Blaisdell Sr. She lived most of her life in Fulton where she worked for Armstrong Flooring Co. as a Data Entry Clerk, retiring after many many years. Jean loved collecting dolls and butterflies. For the past two years, she has been a resident at the nursing facility in Elmira,

Survived by a daughter Deborah (Ron) Hanes of Tioga, Pa., and a son Michael (Lucy) Lanza, Florida. A sister Linda (Dale) Shaw of Elmira. Grandchildren: Brian Koellner and Ashley Hanes and Great Grandchildren: Hailey Fisher and Dominic Fisher. Several nieces and nephews and a special friend and roommate Sandy Ferreira. Predeceased by her first husband Lou Lanza's brother Harold "Sonny" Blaisdell Jr., her sister Frances McGary, and her long-term partner Don Gates.
